***Cook frozen for 55 min.***
I thought this looked pretty easy to assemble- ChrisAnne and Jenna what did you think? The pie crusts are only available like this during the holiday season so if we are interested in doing these in Jan. we should buy some and freeze them or resort to making our own. They were about $1 per crust- each pot pie needed 2 crusts.
Cooking tip- take a small strip of tin foil to wrap on edge of crusts so it doesn't brown quicker than the center of the crust.

Other than ChrisAnne's arm almost falling off from stirring the ingredients, this was extremely easy to assemble. The pre-made pie crusts are awesome. It made it very easy. I do have a great pie crust recipe that is easy, but rolling it out would take more time. It is an option though.
we LOVED this meal. the kids devoured it and begged for more, asking if I could make another (oh, sure, let me just wave my magic wand). I did cook it about 5 minutes longer than the instructions said because the middle of the top crust was still a little underdone. I'm all for repeating this one. Another option for crusts if we want is the refrigerated cresent rolls. Don't know how it would compare in price, but another option. (My father-in-law does that and makes it in a 9x13 pan.
We liked this meal.First time trying the pre-made pie crusts.
I liked them they tasted great!
I cooked it a little longer too.
I had to cook this an additional 15-20 min. but worth the wait
